This series reimagined traditional product training videos for Subaru sales associates. It was formatted as reality-style competition videos that demonstrated how Subaru Sales Associates could customize vehicles to meet customer lifestyle needs.

Key Elements

Three seasons focused on the Outback Wilderness, sports models WRX and BRZ, and Subaru's first EV vehicle, the Solterra.

Role

  • Creative Direction: Led the creative direction process, including screenwriting, pre-production planning, filming, and editing. 

  • Content Development: Produced videos that entertained audiences while presenting complex topics with easily digestible and actionable instructions.

  • Product Positioning: Developed compelling narratives that highlighted how Subaru's vehicles meet the diverse lifestyle needs of customers while also equipping sales associates with the insights necessary to drive sales.

Outcome

Over 7,500 sales employees voluntarily watched Outdoor Adventures Outback Wilderness. This led to the two new seasons with a 100% increase in budget. The Outdoor Adventure series is now an official part of Subaru's national product training certification program.
